All the functions for driving the paver are collected together here: Traction main switch, operating mode selector and rotary control for the pave speed.

Here users can find all the settings for optimum handling of the material hopper.

All the controls for the screed are combined in this function group. These include: Screed height and width adjustment, Screed Assist, adjustment of the screed planing angle and switching on the screed heating.

The high-contrast color display provides for brilliant readability even in poor lighting conditions. Vital information is shown on menu level 1. More paving settings, as well as information about the machine, can be found on secondary levels.

The ErgoPlus 5 paver operator’s console is optionally available with the Premium Touch Display. This provides an even simpler overview and operation of various functions. With the Premium Touch Display and VÖGELE solutions such as Grade Assist and WPT Paving the paver is ideally prepared for Road Construction 4.0.

As a standard feature, all VÖGELE wheeled pavers are equipped with a lighting system approved throughout Europe for traveling on public roads. The push-buttons for the direction indicators, warning lights, dipped beams and full beams are clearly arranged side-by-side on the console.

The PaveDock Assistant uses clear symbols to facilitate transfer of material to the paver. Signal lights on the paver’s hardtop and controls on the ErgoPlus 5 paver operator’s console enable the paver operator and the feed vehicle to communicate simply:
